Every Sunday, one of the "What's Happening" slides that flashes across the screen as we're finding our seats asks you to pray for our partner church in Warsaw, Poland as they seek to minister to Russian-speakers in that area, the majority of whom are refugees from Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus. One of the pastors and his wife are both from Texas. Both of their children were born on the mission field, specifically in Belarus, where they all learned Russian. After being forced out of Belarus, Russia, and then Ukraine, they fled to Poland for refuge in February of 2022.

As long-time missionaries, they have faced many decisions that they never imagined they would face when they set out from Fort Worth many years ago. One of the hardest decisions has been the decision to send their oldest son off to boarding school in Germany in order to receive an adequate education. That move will take place next Wednesday, with school beginning on August 30. Please pray for this young man and for this family as they embark upon a very new season of missionary life.
